Camp Explorer

We are excited to launch our first annual kids camp, CAMP EXPLORER, in partnership with the Mobile County Public Schools. In June, we will offer two sessions: the first session will begin June 10 through June 12 at Semmes Middle School, and the second session will be June 24 through June 26 at Hankins Middle School.

During the camp, the campers will be divided into four squads, simulating deputies’ roles. They will engage in learning experiences covering various aspects of public safety. Additionally, we will organize field trips to local businesses and scenic locations within Mobile County, allowing our campers to explore and appreciate the community we live in.

CAMP EXPLORER is designed to foster positive relationships between the Sheriff’s Office and children ages 8 to 12. For more questions about Camp Explorer, contact Josh Pounds at jpounds@mobileso.com.
