Last week MCSO deputies arrested two adults and one juvenile for Robbery 1st. The suspects were arrested within an hour of the robbery. The case was solved so quickly because of a concerned citizen who saw two of the suspects running away and was able to give us a very detailed description of the car. We took that information and dispatched it to all of our patrol units as well as the Mobile Police Department. MCSO Patrol units saw the vehicle at a Circle K on Moffett Road and arrested the driver. Surveillance camera’s at a local store identified the other two involved in the crime.
This crime was solved in a timely manner because of three reasons; 1. the communication from a citizen. 2. Communication from MCSO dispatch center. 3. Good detective work. Our Deputies were able to get three potentially dangerous criminals off the streets and behind bars where they belong.
Always remember call the proper authority and never take matters into your own hands. This is what we do all day, everyday and we consider it our Honor to Serve and Protect the citizens of Mobile County.
