FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On July 10, 2013, at approximately 10:30 pm, the Walmart on Moffett Road reported several items stolen from their Electronic Department. A witness at the store stated that several individuals, approximately 8 to 12, went directly to the Electronics Department and disabled the locking mechanism to the cabinets that secured the more expensive electronic items. Members of the group took several items and concealed them in their clothing or bags and walked out of the store. The following items were taken; (1) 32Gb Nexus 10 Google tablet, (1) Nook e-reader, (1) set of BEATS headphones, (1) Android Internet Tablet, and (1) set of Pioneer Sub woofers. Estimated loss is $1040.00.
The subjects were seen leaving in two vehicles. The first vehicle was a 2004-2006 beige or silver Lexus RX400, with a set of large after market Chrome Rims, possibly 20-22 inches in size. The second vehicle was a 2006-2009 white Chevrolet Equinox.
