FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Today, February 8, 2013, THE MOBILE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE executed a search warrant in the 1300 block of BROOKE AVENUE, MOBILE, ALABAMA. MCSO arrested JAKARI MATTHEW TANNER (DOB 2/27/83) and JMESA FIELDS (DOB 9/5/82) for POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE and RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY 3RD. JAKARI TANNER had an outstanding felony warrant. The following listed below were found at the home;
WEAPONS;
1 - AK-47 assault style weapon with a 30 round magazine (loaded);
1 - Smith & Wesson .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun (reported stolen with the Mobile Police Department)(loaded);
1 - Beretta .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun (loaded);
1 - Marlin .22 caliber rifle with scope (loaded - sitting behind the front door);
All the weapons were loaded and could have been used at any point during the entry.
DRUGS;
- 4 prepackaged bags of “Spice”
- 3 grams of crack cocaine
U.S. CURRENCY;
$3,399.00
Approx. $2,000.00 hidden in the heater system of the residence.
