Today, January 27, 2013, MOBILE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE responded to 1080 Red Fox Road on a report of one shot. MCSO found RONALD BYRD (63YOA) shot in the abdomen. BYRD was air lifted to USA Medical Center for trreatment. BYRD told Deputies that JEFFREY SULLIVAN (10/12/60) shot him.
Witnesses at the scene described the shooter as JEFFREY SULLIVAN and that he was driving a red truck. MCSO Patrol saw the truck on HWY 96 and detained him. JEFFREY SULLIVAN’S brother, HAROLD SULLIVAN (11/20/57) was also in the vehicle. A .380 was recovered from the vehicle and a .380 shell casing was found at the scene where the shooting occurred.
JEFFREY SULLIVAN and HAROLD SULLIVAN were interviewed at CITRONELLE PD. HAROLD stated that his brother, JEFFREY shot BYRD over a dispute about a girlfriend. JEFFREY SULLIVAN refused to speak with Detectives.
JEFFREY SULLIVAN was arrested for assult 1st, his brother HAROLD was released.
