Camp Explorer

We are excited to launch our second annual kids camp, CAMP EXPLORER, in partnership with the Mobile County Public Schools.

During the camp, the campers will be divided into four squads to simulate deputies’ roles. They will engage in learning experiences covering various aspects of public safety. Additionally, we will organize field trips to local businesses and scenic locations within Mobile County, allowing our campers to explore and appreciate the community we live in.

CAMP EXPLORER is designed to foster positive relationships between the Sheriff’s Office and children ages 7 to 11. For more questions about Camp Explorer, contact Josh Pounds at jpounds@mobileso.com.

THINGS TO KNOW

• YOU MUST LIVE IN MOBILE COUNTY

• CAMP TIMES EACH DAY: 8 am - 4 pm

• COST: $50

• LUNCH: Each kid will need to bring a lunch each day.

• HOW MANY KIDS: Each camp is limited to 100 kids.

• YOU MAY ONLY REGISTER A CHILD FOR ONE WEEK.

Once registration is closed, if space becomes available, we will reopen it so you may add an additional week.
